Such a beautiful project to work on with Kylie & Mark, they knew exactly what look they were after and made it super easy for us by selecting great products, quality materials and an elegant colour palette. A Hampton aesthetic was hoped for and this comfortable and inviting space offers this, not to mention the shaker style doors which is a classic Hamptons selection. The vanity unit has a difference though with its grey tones, which we think gives a nice modern twist on the style.
The bathroom is set on a backdrop of herringbone tiles which add a visual interest and texture to this space tying the grey & white colour scheme together nicely. A big wow factor to this space is the use of clever lighting, not only the large pendant from the ceiling but the beautiful wall lights and the motion sensor vanity light. Such a clever idea especially if you have small children and they visit the bathroom during the night time.
This bathroom project was also carried out alongside the toilet room renovation which is like a small version of the bathroom. We allowed for a recess in the wall to accept the mini Hampton vanity unit and also Kylie selected a recessed toilet cistern adding more space to the toilet room. Kylie said that the toilet room was her new favourite room in the house and we can see why – it is a cute version of the master bathroom with a twist. The floor tiles were a gamble for Kylie and she was initially unsure whether to go with them – however we can confidently say that this gamble paid off and they look spectacular. Sometimes it is important to go with your imagination and take those risks – after all your house should reflect your personality and your style.
Thank you to Kylie & Mark for being wonderful customers to work alongside and for allowing us to help create these two incredible rooms for you.
