It’s always important to check the credentials and the licenses of any trade or building contractor before you accept their quote.
How long will my bathroom renovation take?
A standard size full bathroom renovation will usually take about 2 to 3 weeks. This is primarily due to the strict drying times needed to comply with Australian Standards. We know how keen you’ll be to have your brand new bathroom ready to use, but keep in mind you can’t always rush a good thing.
When we present you with our fixed price proposal we’ll also include a timeline of how long your bathroom renovation will take.
How much does a bathroom renovation cost?
This is a hard question to answer accurately without doing an onsite inspection, and asking you what you want the bathroom to look and feel like when it’s done.
We find full bathroom renovation can start from $15,000. The size of the bathroom, the type of fixtures and fittings, and the age of the home can massively impact the final price of the work required.
We always recommend speaking with you in your home about the bathroom, it’s a FREE service, and it allows us to confidently provide you with a fixed price proposal.
Who provides fixtures, fittings and tiles?
Unlike most bathroom renovators, we believe this is up to you. It’s your bathroom and you shouldn't be limited to our suppliers, or product ranges.
We work closely with a number of amazing local suppliers that can supply anything you want or need. In fact we can also help you with your product selections if you need a hand. We can meet you in our supplier’s showrooms and walk you through the full selection process.
Do I have to be at home when the work is carried out?
You certainly don't have to be home when the work is carried out. Again, this is completely up to you. You’re more than welcome to be home while we work, but it’s not essential.
If you have pets, don’t worry; we’re completely comfortable working around pets of all shapes and sizes.
Is asbestos a problem?
If you’re unsure whether the property contains asbestos or not, or if we think it may have asbestos, we’ll send a sample to a proper laboratory for confirmation of what the substance is.
If the report confirms you’re home contains asbestos we’ll inform you immediately, and get your authority to have it removed by our qualified asbestos removal partners all in accordance with the specified Government compliance, regulations and safety standards.
Can you renovate other rooms, like my kitchen or laundry?
Absolutely. We can do anything you need doing. While we’re bathroom specialists we’re fully qualified and licensed to take on any general building work from a new kitchen to a complete home transformation. Our team includes all trades.
How do you minimise the dust and mess created by the renovation work?
Our philosophy is simple. We aim to leave your home neat, clean and tidy at the end of each working day. Each member of the team has a full range of drop sheets and plastic protection sheeting ensuring a clean home for you.
In the event of doing any work likely to create a lot of dust we use an industrial extractor fan to draw out the dust correctly. Along with the fan we always use plastic sheeting to seal the area we are working in to prevent the dust from travelling. We also use an additional layer of soft and hard protection of the floors from the entry door we’re using right through to the area of your home we are working in.
What areas of South Australia do you cover?
We work across the entire Adelaide metropolitan area, as well the Adelaide Hills region and the Fleurieu Peninsular.
