The bathroom. It’s a teenage girl’s second home, a place for mom to soak in the tub with a good book, an adventure with rubber duckies for the little ones, and the place we leave dad alone when he’s in there, it should be your sanctuary away from the rest of the world, this one, it ticks all the boxes.
Chris and Emma's choice of fixtures and fittings were well thought out, there space is functional for today, tomorrow and ten years time which is something we consider when working with you on your bathroom design.
The natural stone tiles give the timeless back drop to this cool and contemporary masterpiece. There is one feature that no matter how hard you look you can't see but you can feel it.........underfloor heating. We imagine this was installed to make getting out of that uniquely shaped free standing bath that bit easier, as lets face it who would ever want to leave it!!! Victoria and Albert's elegantly curved bath is the main feature positioned central in the room, serviced by a minimalist chrome floor mounted outlet........pure bliss!
The bathroom shows off quality fixtures too with chrome robe hooks perfectly placed and a stylish heated towel ladder which has been cleverly housed in an old doorway which we closed in and tiled. Another idea by AJM put forward to the customer to make their bathroom feel more roomy and less cluttered. The heated towel ladder is in perfect reach for when Chris and Emma are stepping out of that large shower area which is completely frame less. A custom made shower screen, which by the way is standard for all of our renovations, houses the shower tap ware and large shower fixed head along with some clever storage for products - a niche. The shower niche is perfect for storing your shampoo bottles and soap and is easily cleaned in comparison to a shelf with brackets. It is built within the internal wall cavity so it uses up room that is wasted anyway, which is why this bathroom has two!
After this extensive write up we haven't even touched on the wall hung timber finish vanity unit, the back to wall toilet or the trendy feature lights above the bath!!! The pictures can detail the rest and more! Lastly though, this used to be an old kitchen!!!!!
